by Joanne Barton Visit Date:June 21, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Great accommodation for a family wanting room to spread out, and full kitchen a bonus. Would be nice if a small amount of dishsoap was provided however. Tuk Tuk service to Sala Daeng station excellent and free. With 3 of us we took taxi everyday as it was about the same cost as the BTS e.g. 20 baht per person to National Stadium and between 50-60 baht direct in the taxi.Pool area small but nice and well kept, the spa is very nice too.I found all the staff very helpful and gracious. Some spoke better english than others-but we managed very well to communicate. Internet was a bit of a problem sometimes-more with my tablet than with the laptop. It drove me crazy-sometimes i could access it and mostly i just gave up on it on the tablet.I highly recommend the Bandara Suites for excellent value for money. The restaurant breakfast was just OK, we didn t eat other meals there but ordered room service late one night and found it ok too. There is a 7 eleven just around the corner which is very handy-it s the opposite direction to the BTS and much closer to go to that one. There are 2 buildings and we stayed in the one above the reception which we liked very much. The security and bell boys were fantastic and extrememly efficient when needing a taxi or the Tuk Tuk. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |

by Raypoth Visit Date:June 18, 2010 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Great room. Poor associated restaurant - at breakfast the orange juice was cordial not juice which I felt was pretty poor for a fairly pricey restaurant. We would have stayed for another 5 days but the reception staff wouldn t give us the same rate (wanted to increase it by about 500TB per night)and wouldn t budge on that even though the hotel was almost deserted.Moved to another hotel but otherwise would have been very happy to stay." |

by Lars Holmgren Visit Date:November 5, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Saladaeng is a very good location. The two bedroom apartment was very well designed and had a marvellous view on 24th floor, but could have been even better if the windows had been cleaned (we bought sparay and did it ourselvs). High speed interet was very fast but cost extra (expensive)as we had not booked the apt. directly with the hotel. We missed cheese and youghurt at breakfast, otherwise the breakfast was up to our expectations. The pool area was very nice also and there was enough sun around lunchtime and early afternoon. I can recommend Bandara Suites to other travellers. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |

The breakfast at Maison Chin was very generous and good. The rooms were excellent and the staff very courteous. My daughter made all of the arrangements through Bow and found the reservation service great value as well as efficient and helpful., August 11, 2009 by Kate Perrett Visit Date:August 8, 2009 "Another excellent stay at Bandara, having last stayed in March. Once again the 2 bedroom suite was ideal and staff were very kind and accommodating. I had a late checkout due to an international flight and they happily agreed to this.We are really pleased to have found Bandara - it is conveniently located and always makes for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. We will be back." |
As per my previous bookings through sawadee, Bow and the other staff I dealt with made for a speedy and straight-forward booking. Special requests were met too which was great. Thanks so much, June 17, 2009 by Yvette Harper Visit Date:June 14, 2009 "Once again, a lovely stay at Bandara. This time we were in a 1 bedroom apartment. An enjoyable stay - too short of course and an early flight meant I missed out on the lovely breakfast they have on offer but I look forward to my next visit to Bandara." |

Great as always., August 14, 2009 by Christina Andersson Visit Date:March 31, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Spacious rooms, Good location. Very few sunhours around poolarea due to shadows from buildings." |
We were thrilled with the booking service- especially Bow. All of our special requests went through and were honoured by the hotel - such as a late check out, corner suite and high floor. I felt the communication was great - super efficient and always friendly., March 25, 2009 by Yvette Harper Visit Date:March 23, 2009 "We were delighted with Bandara. It was central and modern with lovely staff. The 2 bedroom suite was even better than we had hoped - with the 2 bathrooms a real bonus. It was absolutely ideal for 3 adults. Breakfast was great and offered plenty of variety. The pool and fitness area was also good and the free internet usage on the same floor there, terrific. All 3 of us would not hesitate to stay at Bandara again as it represented wonderfully value for money and was convenient to everything we needed- night markets, Skytrain (MBK, Chidlom), resturants etc etc. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
Worked good as always., March 8, 2009 by Lars-Goeran Hjaelm Visit Date:February 9, 2009 "We (2 adults and 2 kids age 7 and 9)stayed in a Bandara Suite on 21st floor. Very nice and spacious. The view over the city was magnificent. The pool area in Bandara Suites was small and shaded by the building. The Pool area in Chin house which is next door and available also to Bandara guests was also small but much nicer. Breakfast buffee was OK but we have had better. Staff in reception had some problems communicating in english. Airport pick-up did not work but at check-in, the hotel claimed they had sent a car and tried to charge us. After some discussion they decided to no-charge.Overall a good stay and I wouldn t hesitate booking again <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
